LAB 2: CERTIFICATE IN TELEVISION PRODUCTION
Introducing Lab 2: Certificate in Television Production – a specialized program designed for those ready to dive deeper into the world of television media. Guided by seasoned industry professionals, this program offers hands-on training and real-world insights.

Prerequisites for this advanced course include completion of the Certificate in Film Production at Weengushk Film Institute or equivalent industry experience. Those who meet these requirements will find a rich environment to hone their television production skills, expanding their repertoire through the exploration and mastery of techniques in scriptwriting, production planning, directing, editing, and sound composition.

The curriculum embraces the diverse formats unique to television, enabling students to creatively delve into various genres such as sitcoms, drama, documentary, comedy, and Movie of the Week (MOW). The pinnacle of the program lies in the opportunity for each student to develop and direct a six-episode television series, turning their creative vision into a reality.
Additionally, Laurentian University (LU) will recognize a maximum of 60 credits for students who have completed the equivalent of 60 credits at WFI. LU will consider the completion of the following WFI program combination:
